Sasha perked up with the compliment to her name, eyes sparkling. And the teasing comments between the two of them made her chuckle softly. "Well I wont be too long." She stood gracefully, bowing her head a bit to each in turn and her tail swished once before padding softly to wards the water.
When she reached the very edge she pawed at the water a bit before wading in tail her chin was touching the water. She let in a breath and held it and submerged her head under the water, swimming around a bit and catching sight of a couple tiny fish before coming back up and swimming lazily back to the shallows.
She lay down in the shallow water, swaying a bit with the slow currents of the water. She would paw at a couple fish that passed every now and then and raised her tail and pounced on some of the larger ones before returning to her resting spot in the water.

Scar nodded and stepped aside for Sasha to pass by. He turned to watch her go into the water. After a few moments, Scar flicked his tail for Vallion to follow. He trotted over to the tree where Vernost had been lying the whole time. He layed down lazily. He made a loud noise and sand sturred up under his sudden weight. Scar didn't mind as he continued watching Sasha, moving around fluidly in the water.
Vallion watched Sasha too, with great curiousity. He followed Scar over to where Vernost way laying and plumped down on the ground next to Scar. He gaze traveled from Sasha, to his brother, to the setting sun. It was dropping slowly behind the far away hills. The sun turned the sky a light orange color. He leaned in closer to Scar. "When do you think we should leave. It will be getting dark soon."
Vallion startled Scar out of his thought when Vallion whispered something in his ear. He looked at the setting sun and decided it would be best if they stayed here over night and left in the morning. "We will spend the night here and we can set off at sunrise. We can probably make it back in good time." Scar replied to Vallion. He turned his eyes back to Sasha.

Sasha opened her mouth in a wide yawn and look up into the sky. They were tinted with orange as the sun ducked down and out of sight. Slowly, Sasha stood, water trailing in streams from her body and she shook herself out, spraying water in all directions and flicking the wet sand off of her paws.
She turned to head back to wards the shade of the trees. A couple drops of water fell from her long whiskers and she shook her head a bit, also clearing her ears of water. She blinked and padded lazily up the bank. With each step she flicked her paws a bit to keep them as clear of sand as possible.
Sasha glanced back to wards the trio, eyes lingering on Scar, wondering if she should approach or simply rest under a smaller tree close by. Her tail swayed back and fourth as she walked, shoulders and neck relaxed as she let her head drop a bit. She was tired and was glad of the shelter in the area. Sleep would be very lovely.
She paused a moment to yawn again and stretch her front paws forward, tail raised in the air. When she stood straight, she shook herself out again and picked up her pace a bit to a slow trot.

Scar watched as Sasha slowly and lazily walked out of the water. He looked over at Vallion, who was lying down, probably sleeping Scar guessed. His thought was reassured when he heard Vallion's snore. Seeing her look at him, he quickly turned his gaze away, hopeing he was quick enough so that she didn't see her looking at him. He noticed her yawning and was going to ask Vallion to move over to make room for her. But he decided against it and let him sleep.
Scar stood up tiredly and walked over to where Sasha was walking. "Tired? You can sleep over there." He said, pointing to a smaller tree with his tail. "Those big brutes back there don't look like they are going to move any time soon." He joked. He didn't want her to be lonely, so he ventured out and continued on talking. "If you don't mind, I could come with you." He looked into her eyes, but quickly turned away as he started to feel embaressed. He shuffled his paws underneath him, then looked at the setting sun as he waited for her to answer.

Sasha smiled softly when Scar quickly averted his gaze and stopped as he stood up and walked her way. "Tired? You can sleep over there." She looked over to the tree that Scar indicated at and smiled. "I am tired. Yes." She smiled softly and looked back at him. "Those big brutes back there don't look like they are going to move any time soon." Sasha followed her gaze over to the two sleeping cats. "If you don't mind, I could come with you." Her blue eyes locked on Scar who was moving about nervously and she turned her nose to wards the tree to spare him the embarrassment. "Sure. Lets go." She looked back at him and smiled sweetly again then started making her way to the shade of the tree.
As she made it to the trunk she circled around it inspecting the roots and eventually layed down on a soft patch, unsettling the dirt underneath her paws as she adjusted herself comfortably and looked up at Scar, waiting for him to lay down. She tilted her head and blinked up at him.

Scar smiled at her words. "Sure. Lets go." "Great." He said happily. He walked after her towards the tree. After watching her examine the tree roots, then lay down, he started walking closer to her. He let her get comfortable before lying down beside her. His fur barely touched hers, and she hoped she wouldn't mind. He looked at her. "Comfy enough?" He asked. He looked back towards his brother and Vernost. Vallion was staring him down, but quickly turned away and laid his head back down on the ground. He returned his focus back to Sasha.
Vallion had been staring at Scar. He was wondering why he always got the pretty ones. Yeah, he was the more dominent male, but it doesn't mean that Vallion could never get the females. And Sasha would be a very good mate to have. She was alot of things that Vallion liked. Mostly beautiful. He stared his brother down, mostly because of jelousy, but he turned away when Scar stared back. He laid back down tired of his brother's alway claiming the females before he could even get to know them.

Sasha's voice was quiet now that Scar was so close. "I am comfortable, thank you." She smiled and noticed Scar staring in the direction of the other two cats. Slightly confused, Sasha followed his gaze and saw Vallion staring down Scar. As Vallion lay his head back down, she returned her sights to Scar. "Is he okay?" She knew that being surrounded by three males wasn't exactly the safest and she was glad she wasn't yet in heat. If she was, the males would be fighting and even if they're attention was focused on trumping one another, it would be dangerous for her. But she also didn't want to come between the two lions. She would have to be careful about what she said.
Sasha looked back and forth between Scar and Vallion for a few seconds before clearing her head and focusing on Scar. "So where is it you three are headed?" She didn't really have a destination. She was more or less wandering aimlessly and her paths had led her no where...til now. She glanced at the setting sun as the nightly shadows started to darken the water not too far away.

Scar noticed that Sasha had gotten quieter. Thinking she was uncomfortable, Scar moved away slightly. He could no longer feel her fur against hers. "I am comfortable, thank you." Scar nodded in a silent reply. "Is he okay?" Scar looked back over at Vallion. He did seem more tense than usual. "Yeah, he's fine. He's just upset that I am over here and not over there." Scar covered up. He didn't want her to know that Vallion was really probably jelous. But he knew his brother always obeyed his decisions, and he hoped that would continue until now.
Scar kept focusing his attention more and more on Sasha and less on Vallion and Vernost. "So where is it you three are headed?" Scar thought for a moment about what he had told his brother previously. "We are planning on heading back to our territory. If we leave at like dawn or something, we should be back home by sunset." He said. "We were going to head to the Market and pick up a slave or two. But we need to get home before some other animal takes our land over." He explained.

Sasha listened to their plan of returning home. "A slave huh..." She never really liked the idea of someone selling themselves off or cat with more power selling off a lesser cat..or wolf. Whichever was there at the market. She understood why it was done but never really liked it. She herself almost landed herself in that position and was glad it didn't happen that way. She would have never lived with herself. Plus, she hated to take orders from other people every five seconds. It was irritating and pointless and because she'd be the one to stand up for herself she'd find herself in a very big mess....or dead. Not all 'masters' were kind to their slaves.
Sasha looked down at her paws and quickly retracted her claws that had come out in her anger and pity for the poor creatures who's life was spent as a slave. She forced herself to relax although her ears were flat to the side. The blue in her eyes had darkened a little and they deepened with troubled thoughts. Her whiskers had drooped a bit as she thought more about it. Her thoughts raced onto the rest of what he said. They had a territory. Two males sharing a territory? She wondered what relations they had to each other. She hadn't yet asked.

Scar watched Sasha as she flexed her claws, or what seemed like she was flexing her claws. He looked in her eyes, which had darkened now. He whiskers were drooping too. He had suddenly thought he had said something offensive. He guessed it wasn't that bad, but if she was going to stay with them, he had to tell her everything. He looked deep into her eyes. "Is there something wrong Sasha?" He asked concerned. "Did I say something wrong?" He became concerned. He really liked her, more than most females he had met before.
He really wondered why she had suddnely became this way. Did she have something against cats owning slaves? He certainly hoped not, but it was her life, not his. He gave Vallion a despret look. He had a problem over here. He hoped Vallion would come and change subjects for him, but deep down, he didn't want his brother to come over. He was haveing a good time with Sasha until he said something wrong, even though he is not sure what he said that was wrong yet. He turned back to Sasha and waited for her answer.

Sasha was torn from her thoughts by Scar speaking. "Oh um, I'm fine. It's okay. I just don't like the idea of slaves. I almost was forced to be one when I was younger and wandering. That's all." Her ears turned down a bit. "I was kicked out before I got a handle on things so I had it rough in the beginning." She smiled softly. "But every life is hard I guess." She perked up a bit and looked up at him. "But I'm okay. Just had a down moment. It happens." Her tail came around to curl around her body and she accidentally brushed him with it.
Sasha bowed her head a bit in light embarrassment and fidgeted a little. She glanced up at the darkened sky and turned back to Scar. "We should rest. You've a long way to travel tomorrow." She lay her head down on her paws and glanced up at him, waiting for him to respond in some way. Her blue eyes blinked and she started to purr softly deep in her chest. It was good to have someone here to talk to. It somehow lifted a very heavy stress and she sighed happily.

Scar looked at his paws when she had replied to his quiestion. "Oh um, I'm fine. It's okay. I just don't like the idea of slaves. I almost was forced to be one when I was younger and wandering. That's all. I was kicked out before I got a handle on things so I had it rough in the beginning. But I'm okay. Just had a down moment. It happens." "Oh, well sorry about that. I am sorry to remind you of your past like that." He said sypathetically. He felt her tail as she wrapped it around her.
"We should rest. You've a long way to travel tomorrow." Scar nodded. "Yes, we should get to sleep." He said looking up at the sky. The sun was now basically behind the distant hills. The other side of the sky was turning a dark blue color. He rested his head on his paws and shut his eyes. He was quite tired. He occasionally opened his eyes, but kept them closed most of the time, but he had soon fallen into a light slumber.

She watched Scar lay his head down and she slowly closed her eyes. Despite her being tired it took her a while to fall into a light slumber. It was unfamiliar territory to her. For the past couple weeks she had been sleeping a ways away from running water so the sound seemed louder to her now than it should have. Not to mention she had three male cats near her that she had met not too long ago. It was new to her and it kept her up. But she didn't fidget or show any sign that she couldn't sleep at first. And soon enough, her determination paid off when she let the darkness creep into her mind and extinguish her thoughts.
***
As the sun peaked over the distant hills, a beam of warm light fell over her fur and warmed her up after the chilling desert night. She shrugged her shoulders a bit and rolled over to bask in the sunlight for a bit before actually getting up. She didn't open up her eyes but she listened around, until the stirred up sand caused her to sneeze. She righted herself and pawed at her nose a bit before opening up her eyes and looked around.

Scar had been tired and almost immediatly fell into a deep sleep. He had been dreaming of being back in his own territory. He and Vallion had been hunting, and killing alot. He and his brother looked happy to him.
* * * * * * * * *
Scar woke up from his nice dream. He had gotten a good night's sleep. It would be a long distance to travel, no he would have needed all the sleep they could get. He looked over at Vallion and Vernost, who were still sleeping. He looked at Sasha, who was awake and looking around. "Did you sleep well?" He asked. "We have a long day today."
----------------------------------------
Vallion had woken up. He had slept nice and felt refreshed. He looked for his brother. He spotted him over by Sasha, still. He got up and shook his mane. Sand flew all over and a large puff. He strenched then walked slowly over to his brother and Sasha. "If you don't mind me interupting," He said rudely, staring at his brother. "We should be headig out soon. We have a long way to go." He said.

Sasha's ear flicked in the direction of Scar as the sounds of his movements was drawn to her attention. "I slept quite well, thank you." Her voice was sweet and she ended with a yawn. She rose and stretched. Her paws reached forward as her back bowed, then she straightened as Vallion came over. His tone was rude and Sasha turned to wards him.
This time when she spoke, her voice was low and a little too sweet. It was a clear warning. "Vallion, isn't it a bit too early to start off in a mood like that? The morning should never start off sour." She wasn't really a morning person. She had started off mornings with arguments with her mother and it left her a bit temperamental when such a thing occurred again.
She smiled again with ears perked forward as she turned and trotted down to the water for a quick drink.
