Center Tree

The center tree is old and large. It's branches seem to extend over one hundred feet into the sky. The trunk is a good two hundred feet around at the base. The wolves say it was planted here by the master of the earth as the first tree. The cats say it was planted by the lion in the sky(the sun). There have been disputes over this fact, but it still remains a mistery. The roots of the great tree, some of which are lifted up and can provide shelter, are as long as the clouds of the sky extending for miles at a time. Both cats and wolves come here to meet and great. No fighting may occure here for it is considered a bad omen for fights to happen next to what some consider the sacred tree.
