suggestions

perhaps this is none of my business, and please don't get made at me for saying this . . . but . . . i just thought i'd give you a few ideas to try and increase activity around here. you have a really good base, but i think there are a couple things that could make the site a bit better.

1. side tables/some type of information table. i just think they make the site look more neat and well put together. not to mention it is just what most sites look like. its a terrible fact, but most people ( including myself sometimes ) are attracted to the familiar, or just what is popular. ( if you aren't too good with graphics i would be happy to help/explain how )

2. more advertising? i don't really know how much you are doing, but advertising is the biggest key to new members.

3. perhaps more boards? and with longer descriptions. i haven't really looked around too much, so i might be missing something, but at first glance it doesn't look like there are a lot of rp boards.

well, that's about it. i'm not trying to be mean/snide/stuck up/anything negative. i just wanna help. this site has a good firm plot/rules and i would like to see it take off. (:

I'm glad you made these suggestions Kairi! I'm working on the advertising, but its very time consuming. If anyone would like to help there is a post in the Adverstising board with the code for our ad.
As for the boards, that sounds good, I can definately do that. The lands for the time being will be to four. If there is a request for another I will put one in but we have few enough characters as it is, much less have them spread out.
The graphics, I'll talk to Lugu, she is the layout manager person around here! We'll see what we can do.

I'll go and fix the boards right away, but if anyone else has any other suggestions please don't hesitate to add them here!

phew, i am very glad you didn't get upset with me, lol. but i was just trying to help. anyway, i don't have very much time on my hands right now with school and what not, but i'll help with the advertising as much as possible. thank you for taking my suggestions into consideration.

I have some suggestions too. I think you should put a picture instead of just a blue square at the front of each board. That always looks super duper uber cool. Second, I think the news board at the top should go a tiny bit slower. If there's a way of controling that, I'd look into it. I was having some trouble reading it and I didn't get anything out of the longer posts up there about waffles. What does it mean? *shakes fist in the sky dramatically* That's all I can see that I would change for right now.

I fixed the newsfader Drizzle. Waffles is an inside joke between Lugu and I no doubt you both will pick up on it eventually. Umm as for pictures that entails a whole lotta work, if someone wants to make bannders for the titles go right ahead but at the moment my hands are full. Maybe later I will be able to put them up.

Thanks so much Kairi! I love suggestions really. It helps alot. Because two heads are better than one and my one sometimes gets way to overloaded to see the problems! I'm so glad you will be helping with advertising. I definatley need to get back on that...
